Providing a practical approach to academic session, the Department of Economics and Finance, International School of Management Patna organised a virtual workshop on “Stock Market Trading using Real & Virtual Platforms” on 28 May, 2021.
The Head of the Department of Management, Mrs. Saanyukta Sikdar outlined the objectives of the workshop. Mr. Rahul Kumar Sinha, Assistant Professor, Finance, introduced Resource Person, Mr. Ashutosh, Senior Manager, Nirmal Bang Securities Pvt. Ltd. First of all, Mr. Ashutosh dealt with fundamental theoretical concepts of real and virtual stock marketing. After that making a difference between real and virtual share trading he demonstrated online methods and processes of using own virtual money in share market.
Through several slides of PPT he presented all the required steps like Demat Account, Virtual Trading account, savings account, Pan Card, ID proof etc. very lucidly and systematically. With his informative presentation the students of ISM as the active participants of the workshop could learn how to use virtual platform of share market, practise trading, learn strategies of investments, and understand the share market.
A two-hour long interesting workshop was ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Assistant Professor, Mr. Sujay Shekhar. The whole programme was covered and transmitted on Facebook Live by the IT Dept. of ISM.
