Two-day Eye Check-up Camp Organized @ ISM
ISM Patna (25th and 26th August 2022): International School of Management Patna in association with
Drishtikunj Netralaya conducted a free eye check-up camp and organized a two-day eye check-
up camp for its students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff.
Around 300 people benefitted from this camp, which had a team of three renowned optometrists Dr. Randheer Kumar Jha MBBS MD, Ex Senior Surgeon AIIMS New Delhi, Dr. Nimmee Rani, MBBS, MS, Fellow Arvind Eye Hospital and Dr Nishant Kumar Jha.
Blood Donation Camp Organized at ISM
ISM Patna (27 November 21): At ISM Patna premises, the technical team of Prathama Blood
Centre, a Charitable Trust under India Health Partners (HP) Project and Health department,
Government of Bihar and ATMRF (technical partner of IHP) organized a two-day blood
donation camp on 26 and 27 November. The technical expert team of Prathama organized two
blood donation awareness sessions among the students on 26 November.
On the second day of the camp, 72 students of the institute enthusiastically donated blood in the camp, of which more than 50 students donated blood for the first time. Acknowledging the lifesaving philanthropic responsibility of the conscientious human being, all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the institute voluntarily participated in this program.
Flood Relief Initiative
ISM Patna is taking a little initiative to help people who were suffering from heavy rainfall and waterlogging. Our team is tried to reach every possible place to help them. We provided food packets, water, candle, matchboxes, first aid, and transportation.
In order to address this gap, ISM Patna has embarked on their yearlong “Consummate Leadership” initiative where students from the management discipline, as well as entrepreneurs, would be invited to participate in workshops, seminars, business games, films, role plays and many other creative programs for free.
Health Checkup Camp
International School of Management, Patna has organized a Free Health Check-up Camp in its premises on 25 September 2019 in association with Paras HMRI. Dr. Gautam R Prasad, Spine Consultant, while addressing the students, highlighted the major causes of spine diseases, created awareness and had shared common health tips to prevent such diseases. Dr. Neeraj Vedpuria, Clinical Psychologist conducted the Psychometric Test on over 300 students. He asked students to reduce fear and overcome anxiety. Depression is one of the major issues faced by the youth. Proper care is must to have a physically fit body with a healthy mind. Dr.Ridu Kumar, Oncologist enhanced on leading a healthy and hygienic life to avoid cancer. Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, Orthopaedics stressed consuming a balanced diet to avoid problems related to bones. The villagers of Sarari, Lakhnibigha, and Usri have come to the campus to avail the facility of free health check-ups. To provide quality education is the prime motto of ISM Patna, but it also believes in rendering its social responsibility by picking up the welfare activities which are well organized by the CSR coordinator, Dr. Sweta, and the team of students without whom, these activities will be difficult to organize. More than 100 people have availed the benefit and made the event truly successful. Kudos to the CSR team of ISM Patna!
Tree Plantation
International School of Management, Patna successfully organized Tree Plantation Programme in collaboration with Lions Club of PATNA Maurya Aparajita. The institute Chairman Mr. Samrendra Singh, Director Dr. Jagdish Prasad , UG Incharge Dr. Julee Banerji, Lions Club President Mr. Alok Kumar, Sanju Sinha- Secretary, Mr.Rakesh Kumar - Treasurer, Ln Arun Kumar Singh, ISM Faculty members and a large number of students participated in this plantation program. More than 100 trees were planted in the huge campus of ISM PATNA.
Mission Leadership
Bihar is reinventing itself. It is powerfully positioned not just to participate in India’s growth story but also accelerate it. With the recent spurt in business activities in this space, there is a requirement for not just trained managers but also consummate leaders who will contribute to the development of Bihar and the country.” However, there are few platforms where the youth of the state can hone their leadership skills.
English Training
The Institute conducts English and communication training through the use of Language Lab facility in campus. Training modules are specifically customized to cater the needs of students from nearby villages.
Internet Kiosk
The Institute has installed an Internet Kiosk in the campus to help people from nearby villages who are seeking information regarding crop varieties, current market rates of their produce, weather forecasts, information regarding doctors, etc.
Computer Literacy Programme
Under the aegis of this program, students of ISM Patna conduct computer literacy classes for the students of the primary schools of nearby villages. A batch of 15 students is selected and they are brought to the Institute’s lab every Saturday for close to 3-months.
