ISM Patna, May 30, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to contemporary management education, research innovation, and future-oriented leadership discourse, the Department of Management at the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, organized a National Conference on “AI Integration, Sustainability and Hybrid Workforce Management: Redefining Strategic Management for Future Organisations”. The academic event was conducted under the leadership and patronage of the Chairman, Sri Samrendra Singh; Vice Chairman, Sri Deval Singh; and Secretary, Sri Amal Singh; the academic guidance of Director, Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Viveka Nand Sharma, Academic Head, Prof. (Dr.) Sweta Rani, and IQAC Coordinator, Ms. Neeru Kumari.
More than 100 research papers were presented during three technical sessions covering diverse themes such as AI-driven decision-making, digital transformation, sustainable business strategies, workforce adaptability, organizational resilience, leadership innovation, human resource transformation, and ethical management practices. The conference particularly attracted PGDM scholars, marking a significant academic engagement for the first-ever business school in the province. One of the major highlights of the conference was the unveiling of the cover page of the conference book titled “AI Integration, Sustainability and Hybrid Workforce Management”, carrying an ISBN and comprising selected research papers presented during the conference.
The inaugural session was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Manish Prasad, Founder of the Training and Development Research Institute (TADRI) and associated with V.K.S.U., Ara. The Guests of Honour included Mr. Gopal Shankar Prasad, Retired Divisional Commissioner, Saran, and Faculty at L.N. Mishra Institute of Economic Development and Social Change, Patna; Prof. (Dr.) Markus Launer, Faculty of Commerce and Social Work at the Ostfalia University, Suderburg Campus, Germany; Ms. Rachna, Company Secretary, BSFCSCL; Mr. Debasis Sahoo, Vice President, Human Resources, Patna Region, SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd.; and Dr. Niraj Jha, CEO, Hanuman Care.
Delivering the welcome address, Conference Chairperson and Director of ISM Patna, Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar emphasized that future organizations would increasingly depend upon the balanced integration of technology, sustainability, and human-centric leadership. He highlighted the necessity of preparing management professionals capable of navigating rapidly evolving business ecosystems shaped by Artificial Intelligence and hybrid work culture.
The inaugural session concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Pooja Dubey, expressing gratitude to the distinguished guests, participants, faculty members, research scholars, and organizing team for contributing to the successful organization of the conference.
The programme proceedings were effectively moderated by Assistant Professor, Dr. Shweta Singh, ensuring the smooth conduct of the inaugural and technical sessions. The valedictory report of the conference was comprehensively presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Shatakshi Shrivastava, who highlighted the major deliberations, research insights, and academic outcomes of the conference.
Proposing a vote of thanks at the valedictory session, IQAC Coordinator Ms. Neeru Kumari remarked that management education must continually evolve to accommodate technological disruption while preserving ethical values, sustainability, and organizational inclusivity. She further emphasized that academic conferences provide meaningful platforms for collaborative learning, policy dialogue, and research-oriented thinking among emerging management professionals.
