Mirzapur Stars Set ISM Patna Abuzz in a Grand Meet-and-Greet with Students

ISM Patna, August 22, 2026: The International School of Management (ISM), Patna, was abuzz with excitement on Saturday as acclaimed actors Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Divyendu, celebrated for their iconic portrayals of Akhandanand Tripathi (Kaleen Bhaiya), Guddu Pandit and Munna Tripathi, respectively, in the upcoming theatrical film Mirzapur: The Movie, releasing on September 4, 2026, visited the campus for a special Meet-and-Greet Programme organised by the Cultural Committee.

Held under the leadership of Shri Deval Singh, Vice-Chairman, ISM Patna, the much-awaited programme drew more than 2,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, giving them a rare opportunity to interact with some of the most recognisable faces of contemporary Indian entertainment.

Extending a warm institutional welcome, the Chairman, Sri Samrendra Singh, Lady Chairman, Mrs. Nibha Singh, Vice Chairman, Sri Deval Singh; Secretary, Sri Amal Singh and Secretary Madam, Mr. Akriti Singh, Director, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, and Academic Head, Dr. Sweta Rani, and Admin, Ms. Neeru Kumari felicitated the visiting actors on behalf of ISM Patna as a gesture of appreciation for their presence on the campus and in recognition of their contribution to Indian entertainment.

The arrival of the Mirzapur stars turned the campus into a vibrant hub of excitement. Students formed a human chain to welcome the actors, greeting them with loud cheers and enthusiastic renditions of memorable dialogues associated with the popular series. The spirited reception reflected the immense popularity of Mirzapur and its characters among young audiences.

During the programme, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Divyendu interacted with the students, sharing glimpses of their experiences in cinema and digital entertainment. They spoke about their creative journeys, experiences before the camera and the commitment and preparation involved in bringing memorable characters to life on screen.

The interaction went beyond the excitement of meeting popular screen personalities, offering students insights into the evolving landscape of OTT platforms, acting, storytelling and the entertainment industry. For students interested in media, communication and creative professions, the session provided an engaging opportunity to understand the people, processes and perseverance behind successful screen performances.

The programme was coordinated by Ms. Swati Sawarn, Coordinator, Cultural Committee, with the support of committee members and student volunteers, whose collective efforts contributed to the smooth organisation of the high-profile campus event.

The event emerged as a memorable moment of campus engagement, bringing students and celebrated performers together in an informal and lively setting. The overwhelming student response, energetic welcome, and interaction with the actors made the occasion one of the major attractions on the ISM Patna campus.
