Patna, 10 December 2025: The International School of Management (ISM), Patna, celebrated a proud moment as Dr. Sweta Rani, Academic Head, and Mr. Rajeshwar Dayal, Head of the Department of Computer Applications, felicitated Anurag, a BCA Vth Semester student, for his outstanding achievements in Arm Wrestling. Known for his discipline and determination, Anurag has quickly risen to become one of Bihar’s most accomplished young athletes.
With an extraordinary tally of 47 medals and trophies, including two National Gold Medals, five State Gold Medals, and three State Silver Medals, Anurag’s journey reflects exceptional grit and unwavering commitment to excellence. He has also led the sport with distinction as the President of the Arm-Wrestling Association of Bihar, inspiring numerous young sportspersons across the state.
The felicitation ceremony witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of the entire ISM fraternity, with Heads of the Departments of Management, Commerce, and Journalism & Mass Communication joining faculty, staff, and students from PGDM, MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, BCP, and BAJMC programmes to celebrate his achievement. The atmosphere was filled with admiration and pride as the ISM community applauded his remarkable success. The event was organised by the Cultural and Sports Committee of the institution and coordinated by Dr. Neha Jha, Chairperson, Cultural Committee, along with Assistant Professor, Mr. Nishant Kumar. The ceremony was smoothly moderated by Ms. Tanya Jha, a member of the Student Cabinet.
Speaking on the occasion, the Academic Head applauded Anurag’s unwavering discipline, noting that his achievements serve as a strong motivation for all ISM students to excel in academics as well as co-curricular activities.
