Patna, 9 October 2026: The International School of Management (ISM), Patna, participated in a special lecture titled “Aaj Se Aage Ke Gandhi Ji” (Gandhi Ji for the Future), organised under the joint auspices of Bapu Tower, Patna, and the Gandhi Peace Foundation, Patna. A total of 40 students from the BAJMC and MBA programmes attended the event to gain insights into the relevance of Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy and values in contemporary society.
The programme aimed to encourage students to reflect on Gandhian principles and their significance in addressing present-day social, ethical, and national challenges. The lecture provided an opportunity for students to explore Gandhi’s vision and understand how his ideals of peace, truth, non-violence, and social responsibility continue to inspire future generations.
The keynote address was delivered by Shri Kumar Prashant, President of the Gandhi Peace Foundation, New Delhi. The programme was graced by Dr. Sumit Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. C. V. Raman University, Vaishali, Bihar, as the Chief Guest. Professor (Dr.) Manoj Kumar, retired Deputy Director of the Gandhi International Hindi University, Wardha, attended as the Special Guest. Other speakers included Shri Bhairav Lal Das, writer and Gandhian thinker, and Shri Sadhusharan Singh, President of the Gandhi Peace Foundation, Patna Centre.
The visit was coordinated by Mr. Satish Kumar, Assistant Professor, BAJMC, and Chairperson of the Media Committee, ISM Patna, who facilitated the students’ participation in the programme.
Through such educational initiatives, ISM Patna continues to encourage experiential learning and promote awareness of India's intellectual heritage, democratic values, and the principles that contribute to building a peaceful and responsible society.
