Patna, 4 October 2026: The International School of Management (ISM), Patna, actively participated in the Jagran Film Festival, organised by Dainik Jagran at P&M Mall, Patna. A total of 208 students and 6 faculty members from various programmes of the institute attended the festival, providing students with an enriching opportunity to experience diverse forms of cinema and understand different cinematic perspectives.
Students from various programmes, including BBA, PGDM, MBA, BCA, MCA and BAJMC, participated enthusiastically in the festival.
During the festival, students watched one feature film and three short films, offering them exposure to varied storytelling styles, themes and cultural perspectives. The screenings included films in the Persian language as well as a Mithila-language film, allowing students to appreciate the diversity of Indian and international cinema.
The participation of ISM students was coordinated by Mr. Satish Kumar, Assistant Professor and Chairperson of the Media Committee, along with Mr. Awadhesh Kumar, Assistant Professor of Computer Applications. Their guidance ensured smooth coordination and active participation of the students throughout the event.
The faculty members accompanying the students were Dr. Sunita, Mr. Sudhir Sinha, Mr. Basukinath, and Ms. Aarti Sinha.
The festival provided students with an opportunity to engage with cinema beyond the classroom and gain a broader understanding of filmmaking, storytelling, culture and creative expression. Such platforms contribute significantly to enhancing students’ awareness of the evolving media and entertainment landscape.
