ISM Patna Hosts National Conference on Intelligent Computing; Over 100 Research Papers Presented Across India

Under the leadership and patronage of Chairman Sri Samrendra Singh, Vice Chairman Sri Deval Singh, and Secretary Sri Amal Singh, the Department of Computer Applications at the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, organized a National Conference on “Intelligent Computing, Innovation and Resilience” in hybrid mode on May 23, 2026, bringing together academicians, researchers, industry experts, scholars, and students from across the country. More than 100 research papers were presented during two technical sessions focusing on emerging technological advancements and resilient digital innovations. The dignitaries also unveiled the cover page of the conference book titled “Intelligent Computing, Innovation and Resilience,” carrying an ISBN, comprising 60 selected research papers presented during the conference.

The inaugural session was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Shailesh Shrivastava, Senior Scientist and Head, Digital Government Research Centre, National Informatics Centre (NIC), Patna, and guests of Honour, Mr. Prabhat Kumar, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology Patna, Dr. Md. Shams Raza, Machine Learning Expert and Associate Faculty, Department of Computer Science, V.K.S.U., Ara, and Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Head Administration/HR & Head Material Management, C-DAC Patna, Ministry of Electronics, Information Technology, Government of India, and Mr. Raushan Kumar, an AI Entrepreneur. 

Delivering the welcome address, Conference Chairperson and Director of ISM Patna, Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar highlighted the growing significance of intelligent computing, innovation ecosystems, and resilient digital frameworks in addressing contemporary global challenges. He emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary research and collaborative academic engagement for sustainable and ethical technological development.

Addressing the participants, Dr. Shrivastava spoke on the transformative role of intelligent computing and digital governance in strengthening public administration, improving citizen-centric services, and building resilient technological infrastructures in India. He also encouraged young researchers to develop innovation-driven solutions to address societal and administrative challenges in the digital era.

Dr. Raza shared their expert insights on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, intelligent systems, and disruptive tools innovation in AI. They underlined the importance of ethical technological practices, research excellence, and industry-academia collaboration in shaping the future of intelligent computing.

The inaugural session concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by the Convener of the Conference and HoD, Department of Computer Applications, Prof. Rajeshwar Dayal, who expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests, researchers, participants, organizing committee members, faculty coordinators, and students for making the conference a grand academic success.

The technical sessions featured presentations on contemporary themes, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Smart Technologies, Digital Innovation, and Sustainable Computing Practices. Researchers and academicians from various institutions across India exchanged innovative ideas, empirical findings, and future perspectives on intelligent computing and resilience. Participants appreciated the hybrid mode arrangement, which enabled wider national participation and facilitated meaningful academic interactions among scholars and experts from various regions of the country.

The conference was organized under the academic guidance of the Director of ISM Patna, Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Viveka Nand Sharma, Academic Head, Prof. (Dr.) Sweta Rani, and Admin, Ms. Neeru Kumari, who motivated the organizing team and encouraged the promotion of quality research and innovation among students and faculty members.

Addressing the gathering, the Convener of the Conference, Prof. Dayal, emphasized that intelligent computing and resilient digital innovation are no longer optional domains but essential pillars for shaping the future of education, industry, governance, and society. He remarked that the conference aimed to provide a dynamic academic platform where researchers, technologists, educators, and young scholars could collaboratively explore emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, and sustainable technological solutions. He further highlighted that innovation must always be guided by ethical responsibility, inclusivity, and human-centric values to ensure meaningful and sustainable development in the rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.

The programme proceedings were effectively moderated by Assistant Professor, Ms. Swati Savarn and Ms. Ragdah Javed, ensuring the smooth conduct of both inaugural and technical sessions. The valedictory report of the conference was comprehensively presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Shatakshi Shrivastava, highlighting the key deliberations, research presentations, and major outcomes of the event.

The successful organization of the conference once again reflected ISM Patna’s commitment towards promoting academic excellence, technological advancement, research collaboration, and innovation-driven education in the rapidly evolving digital age.
