Patna, 15 October 2026: The International School of Management (ISM), Patna, organised “Dandiya Raas,” a vibrant cultural celebration of Navratri that brought together students from all departments and faculty members in an atmosphere filled with joy, enthusiasm, and festive spirit.
The event was graced by Chairman Mr. Samarendra Singh, Vice Chairman Mr. Deval Singh, and Secretary Mr. Amal Singh. The celebration was coordinated by Ms. Swati Savarn, Chairperson of the Culture Committee. Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Director ISM, Patna and Dr. Sweta Rani, Academic Head of ISM Patna, were also present at the event.
The celebration featured a variety of creative and cultural activities reflecting the spirit and traditions of Navratri. Students showcased their creativity through beautifully decorated selfie points and displays. Poster-making and poetry competitions based on the theme of Navratri were also organised, providing students with an opportunity to express their artistic talents and cultural appreciation.
The winners of the various competitions were recognised for their creativity and outstanding performances. In the Dandiya Decoration competition, Payal and her team secured first prize, while Aastha and her team from BCA won second prize. In the poster-making competition organised under NSS, Srishty Soni from BAJMC secured first prize, followed by Megha Kumari from BCA, who won second prize. In the poetry competition, Mansi Gupta, a third-semester BBA student, secured first prize, while Nishu Yadav, a first-semester BAJMC student, won second prize.
The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Mr. Samarendra Singh, Chairman, who congratulated the winners and appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation and creative contributions to the celebration.
The media coverage of the event was managed by BAJMC students under the guidance of Mr. Satish Kumar, Chairperson of the Media Committee. Their efforts ensured the documentation and coverage of the various activities and highlights of the celebration.
