ISM, Patna, May 3, 2025: The International School of Management (ISM), Patna, a proud member of the Developing Library Network (DELNET), made its notable presence felt at a regional workshop titled “Transforming and Empowering Libraries, LIS Professionals and Users: Emerging Trends”, held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Udyog Bhawan, Gandhi Maidan, Patna.
The event was jointly organised by DELNET, New Delhi, and the Development Management Institute (DMI), Patna. It aimed to explore and promote cutting-edge trends in library and information services, with a focus on transforming the role of libraries in the digital age and equipping Library and Information Science (LIS) professionals and users with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices.
Representing ISM Patna at the prestigious event were Mrs. Neeru Kumari, Admin, and Mr. Ajit Kumar Sinha, Librarian. Their participation underscored ISM’s commitment to continuous professional development and the strengthening of knowledge infrastructure within academic institutions.
Both delegates received certificates of participation from the organising committee, acknowledging their engagement in this important regional initiative.
The workshop brought together academic administrators, librarians, information professionals, and scholars from various institutions across Bihar and neighbouring regions, facilitating valuable dialogue on the evolving role of libraries in fostering educational excellence and innovation.
