P. and also highlighted some socio-political views like socialism, Sarvodaya, nationalism, total revolution and modern democracy propounded him. For better understanding of Rural Management, he talked about JP's theory of Decentralization of small-scale industries and agriculture and promotion of local market to remove economic disparity.

Senior Assistant Editor of the Indian Express deliberated on the concept “From Socialism to Sarvodaya” as need of the hour in the contemporary world. Citing Jai Prakash Narayan he said “Sarvodaya Yojana is a suggestion of social revolution rather than any sentimental plan. Simultaneously, the ideal of class- less and caste-less socialism is also included in the notion of Sarvodaya.”

Other resource persons presented comparative studies of Gandhi and JP on nationalism. Making the students acquainted with J P’s view-points on political unity it was quoted “Until the spirit of nationalism develops in every person's heart, the country cannot have all-round development. Despite cultural unity in India, there is a lack of political unity.” For national unity, it is necessary that individuals set aside their religious superstitions and develop an intellectual and scientific outlook in themselves. The participants could get a great opportunity to interact with the resource persons on other socio-economic thoughts of Lok Nayak Jay Prakash. The whole of the insightful and inspiring session was moderated by Ms. Sushmita Soni, Assistant Professor, ISM.
