ISM Patna, August 13, 2026: Carrying the spirit of patriotism beyond the campus and encouraging citizens to celebrate the Tricolour as a symbol of national pride and unity, the NSS Cell of the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, organised a Tiranga March on Thursday under the inspiring slogan “Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Dil Tiranga.”
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers, who carried the National Flag and took the message of patriotism, unity and civic responsibility to communities in and around Patna. Throughout the march, the volunteers sought to strengthen public participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and inspire people to embrace the Tricolour not merely as a national symbol but as an expression of collective identity, sacrifice, and commitment to the nation.
As part of the campaign, the NSS volunteers carried out Tiranga Marches and awareness activities across nearby villages, the Danapur Defence area and Danapur Railway Station, interacting with people and spreading the message of respect for the National Flag and active participation in the national campaign. The spirited presence of young volunteers carrying the Tricolour lent the initiative a strong sense of national pride and community engagement.
A major highlight of the programme was a special Tiranga March from Shaheed Smarak (Saptmurti) to the Bihar Vidhan Sabha. Beginning from the historic memorial dedicated to the young martyrs of the Quit India Movement, the march symbolically connected the sacrifices of India’s freedom struggle with the democratic aspirations and responsibilities of the present generation.
Throughout the campaign, the slogan “Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Dil Tiranga” resonated as a call to take the spirit of the Tricolour from every household to every heart. The initiative also provided the NSS volunteers with an opportunity to engage directly with society and understand their role as young citizens in promoting national unity, social responsibility and respect for the country’s democratic and constitutional values.
Sharing the key takeaways from the initiative, Ms. Neeru Kumari, IQAC Coordinator and Admin, ISM Patna, said that the Tiranga March was intended to deepen among students the values of patriotism, responsible citizenship and community participation. She emphasised that the true significance of the Tricolour lies not only in displaying it with pride but also in upholding the ideals of unity, integrity, discipline, service and national responsibility that it represents. She encouraged students to carry these values into their everyday lives and become responsible contributors to nation-building.
The programme was coordinated by Ms. Neeru Kumari, IQAC Coordinator and Admin, and Mr. Basuki Nath Upadhyay, NSS Programme Officer, ISM Patna, with the active involvement of NSS volunteers. The initiative reaffirmed ISM Patna’s commitment to nurturing socially conscious and responsible young citizens while taking the message of “Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Dil Tiranga” from the campus to the wider community.
