ISM NSS Cell Organises ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan’ Pledge

ISM, Patna, August 12: Under the guidance of the Academic Head, Dr. Sweta Rani, the NSS Cell of the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, organised the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) (Drug-Free India Campaign) pledge on August 12, 2025. The event was conducted as part of a nationwide campaign initiated by the Government of India in collaboration with the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to create awareness against substance abuse and promote a drug-free society.

Faculty members, staff, and the entire student community of ISM Patna actively participated in the pledge-taking ceremony, reaffirming their commitment to a healthy, addiction-free lifestyle. Ms. Neeru Kumari Jha, Admin and NSS Cell Coordinator, administered the pledge, urging everyone to take the message of the campaign beyond the campus and into the community. She emphasised that education is not confined to classrooms but is a tool to enlighten minds and transform society, and encouraged participants to become role models in spreading awareness and fostering positive change.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rani emphasised the importance of collective responsibility in addressing the social menace of drug abuse and called upon students to act as ambassadors of change.

The campaign aligns with ISM Patna’s vision of fostering socially responsible citizens through education, awareness, and community engagement.
