ISM Patna (17 February 2024): The International School of Management Patna (ISM) proudly hosted its much-awaited Alumni Meet-2024 on Saturday, 17 February. The event witnessed the esteemed presence of key personalities, including the Director, Dr. Vijay Bahadur Singh, Principal, Dr. Sachin Bhaskar, Training and Placement Officer (TPO), Ms. Neeru Kumari, and PGDM Coordinators, Ms. Pooja Dubey and Dr. Shilpi Kavita.
The atmosphere was filled with nostalgia and excitement as a great number of alumni from various batches, placed as administrative services, managers, and executives in various companies across the country like HDFC Bank, City Bank, Tata Motors, Pantaloons, Aditya Birla Retails, Dalmia Cement, Lava Mobile, Code Bucket, Niva Bupa Insurance, IndiaMART, Ergos Business Solution, Ninja Innovations Private Limited, Svatantra MicroFin, Value Straight Investment Advisor etc. gathered to reminisce about their academic journey at ISM. The alumni expressed their educational journey at ISM and the unforgettable contribution of the institute’s faculty members and TPOs in their placements through a video byte conducted by BAJMC students. Through this Meet hundreds of Alumni got an opportunity to share their past feelings and present job experiences with their friends on Facebook Live transmission of the programme from the campus.
The event began with a warm welcome from the Director, Dr. Vijay Bahadur Singh, who expressed his delight at seeing the alumni return to their alma mater. In his inspiring speech, Dr. Singh shared valuable insights into the achievements and progress of ISM over the years. He commended the accomplishments of the alumni in their respective fields and emphasized the importance of maintaining strong connections with the alma mater.
Ms. Neeru Kumari, TPO, provided valuable insights into the current placement scenario and highlighted the role of the alumni network in shaping the careers of the students.
The Alumni Meet featured a range of engaging activities, showcasing the vibrant spirit of the ISM community. Attendees participated in a lively game that brought out the competitive yet friendly nature of the alumni. The event also included the significant moment of selecting the President and Vice-President of the Alumni Association, marking a new chapter in the institute’s alumni leadership.
One of the poignant moments of the evening was the traditional lighting of candles, symbolizing the continued illumination of knowledge and wisdom that the alumni carry forward from their time at ISM.
Ms. Pooja Dubey, Head of the Department of Human Resources and Dr. Shilpi Kavita, Head of the Department of Economics and Finance as the PGDM Coordinators, played a pivotal role in organizing and coordinating the various activities, ensuring the smooth flow of the event.
