HR Conclave 2021

The entire human race was gripped by the pandemic and individuals and businesses were compelled to fight with the basic question of survival. Organizations are finding ways to maintain business continuity.

This is a testing time too for everyone on how quickly we adapt, how differently we can plan and execute and how strongly we emerge from this hardship. How can we create an organization in today’s work environment which creates a high level of performance? Saving human capital and their wellbeing is the most important task before HR managers. Here is the need to 3R approach –Reset, Relearn and Rejuvenate. The Human Resource Department of ISM Patna organized a HR Conclave 2021 on the 11th October 21 with an aim to provide a platform for sharing best practices, insights, industry experiences and the latest breakthroughs in the field of HR.

India influential thought leaders from various domains of the HR world had shared their views on current HR practices and future emerging trends. On this occasion, several distinguished HR experts, academicians, corporate professionals and research scholars from premier institutes across the country were invited and have witnessed their presence. Mr. Pravir Kumar, CEO, JIO, Mr. Bishwa Ranjan Chatterjee, Heading HR of The New Indian, Digital National News Portal from Delhi and Former Regional HR Head of BCCL, The Times of India; Dr. Indranil Bose, University of Bolton, Pg. V.Shastry, Executive Director, Natural Gas Society, Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director, Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli, Mrs. Satya Srivastava, Zonal HR Head (Bihar -Jharkhand) Sonata, Titan Group.Mr. Ranjeet Kumar, Managing Director of Upanayan Group, Former HR Admin Reliance Communication, Mr Kaushik Sharaf, CEO Cymatic India.

They had explored their novel views on the topics: Challenges Before HR in Post Covid Scenario and Strategies for Future Roadmap, Managing Hybrid Workforce, HR Analytics: Unlocking the Data, Reinventing T&D Practices in the Post Covid World, Impact of Skill Based Hiring followed by a Panel discussion on the topic “The New Face of HR”. The participants were enlightened by the insightful deliberations of the eminent personalities.The best presentation awards were felicitated to the winners. This was a pioneering and amazing opportunity to explore challenging issues including new rules and regulations of new normal, changes in company rules; policies on hiring, compensation, wellbeing of employees; innovative system of training, managing remote work, agility, engagement, communication, emotional intelligence and mental health of employees; job retention, employee engagement etc.

It has been our pleasure to host the august gathering of all the dignitaries, delegates, research scholars, HR professionals, Participants for their remarkable contribution and presence from different corners of the country through offline and online mode.

Now, this is the time to move forward with “An Intention to action”.
