Grand Republic Day Celebration at ISM

ISM Patna (26 January 2024): The International School of Management Patna
(ISM Patna) hosted a spectacular Republic Day celebration, commemorating the
75th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution on Friday, 26 January.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, adding to the
grandeur of the occasion. The festivities started with a flag-unfurling ceremony,
symbolising the unity and integrity of India. The Chief Guest for the event,
Chairman, Sri Samrendra Singh, unfurled the tricolour with immense pride, while
the national anthem resonated through the campus, instilling a sense of patriotism
among all present. The Lady Chairperson, Mrs. Nibha Singh, The Guest of
Honour, Vice-chairman, Sri Deval Singh, the Special Guest, Secretary, Sri Amal
Singh, Secretary Madam, Mrs. Akriti Singh and Director Dr. V. B. Singh also
graced the occasion with their presence.
On this auspicious occasion, the Chairman of the Institute felicitated Mr. Tajwar
Alam Khan, a PGDM alumni who ranked 173 in the 68th BPSC Civil Services. In
his address, Sri Singh commended the Institute for organizing such a vibrant and
inspiring Republic Day celebration. He emphasised the importance of instilling
patriotic values in the younger generation and encouraged students to contribute
positively to the nation's development.

The event brought together both ISM and Mundeshwari College of Teacher
Education (MCTE) students, faculty members, and staff to honour the values of
justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity that define the essence of our great nation.
Under the direction of Admin, Neeru Kumari and Assistant Professor, Journalism
and Mass Communication, Ms. Nitu Kumari, a specially designed spectacular
cultural programme on the theme of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘India-The Mother of
Democracy’ showcased India’s strides towards revolutionary development and rich
diversity of India through mesmerizing dance performances, patriotic songs, and
theatrical presentations. Students from BBA, BCA, BCP and BAJMC actively
participated in all events collaboratively, making the celebration a true reflection of
unity in diversity and upholding democratic values.
The Director of the Institute expressed his gratitude towards the dignitaries,
students, and staff for making the celebration a memorable one. He highlighted the
institute’s commitment to nurturing not just academic excellence but also a strong
sense of citizenship and responsibility among its students.
