ISM, Patna, June 2, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to student employability, professional grooming, and industry-oriented learning, the Training and Placement Cell of the International School of Management (ISM), Patna organized a Career Preparedness Session for sixth semester undergraduate students on June 2, 2026. The session focused on the contemporary theme, “Mastering Your Resume & LinkedIn for the Modern Job Market.” The programme was organized under the supervision of Ms. Neeru Kumari, Training and Placement Officer of the Institute.
The interactive session was conducted by Ms. Veena Kumari, Recruitment Professional and ABNLP Certified Master NLP Coach, who shared valuable insights into the evolving expectations of recruiters in the competitive employment landscape. Addressing the students, she emphasized the importance of building a professionally structured resume and maintaining a strong LinkedIn profile to enhance visibility, networking opportunities, and career prospects in the digital era.
During the session, Ms. Veena Kumari elaborated on effective resume-writing techniques, personal branding strategies, keyword optimization, professional communication, and the significance of showcasing academic achievements, internships, certifications, and extracurricular activities in a concise and impactful manner. She also guided students on how LinkedIn has emerged as a vital platform for professional networking, career advancement, and recruitment in the modern job market.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from undergraduate students, who actively interacted with the speaker and sought guidance regarding interview preparation, professional presentation, career planning, and industry expectations.
