In order to make the students aware about the new age tools of marketing, International School of Management Patna organized a guest lecture on “Digital Marketing” on 21-01-2020.
The 90 minutes, highly interactive and informative session was taken by Dr. Vijay Prakash Anand, Chairperson Centre for Teaching & Learning - Learning Technologies, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lukcnow.
The resource person started with a brief introduction of marketing and further elaborated how it can be done using digital platforms like website, social media, search engine etc explaining the advantages of the same. He briefly explained the terms like Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Pay Per Click (PPC) etc.
At the end, he clarified the doubts of the candidates and also suggested the ways to learn and enhance the knowledge of digital marketing tools freely trough Google Digital Unlocked and Facebook blueprint and finally he motivated the students to acquire relevant knowledge about today’s marketing tools and techniques to make carrier in it.
