International School of Management Patna celebrated the 77th Independence Day with great fervour and patriotic spirit. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Honourable Chairman, Sri Samrendra Singh, Vice-chairman, Sri Deval Singh, and Secretary, Sri Amal Singh, who were the chief guests of the celebration. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the Chairman accompanied by all the dignitaries, teachers and students. The sight of the unfurling tricolours against the backdrop of the Institute’s magnificent campus filled the atmosphere with a deep sense of patriotism and unity.
Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, the audience witnessed an awe-inspiring cultural programme that featured a variety of performances, including dance, music, drama, speech and poetry recitations. Students of BBA, BCA, BCP and BAJMC displayed their extraordinary talents through meticulously choreographed dance performances that showcased the diverse traditions of India. The cultural programme, meticulously curated by the members of the cultural committee, aimed at commemorating the spirit of freedom and unity that has shaped the nation’s journey.
Inaugurating this cultural programme, the Director of the Institute, Dr. Vijay Bahadur Singh said, “Independence Day is not just a date on the calendar; it’s a reminder of the sacrifices made by countless individuals who believed in the dream of a free and united India. It is a day to reflect upon the values of liberty, equality, and fraternity that form the foundation of our great nation. As we look back with pride at the struggles and triumphs that have shaped us, we must also look forward with determination to build a better future for ourselves and for generations to come.”
Motivating the students, the Vice Chairman asserted that at ISM Patna, we take immense pride in nurturing the future leaders of our country. Chairperson of the Cultural Committee and Domain Leader of the Department of Economics and Finance, Ms Shilpi Kavita expressed her gratitude towards the ISM community for its wholehearted participation and unwavering enthusiasm in making the event a resounding success. She emphasized the importance of nurturing such cultural initiatives that not only celebrate India’s incredible heritage but also inspire the present generation to contribute positively towards the country’s future.
