6th NMSRC 2022 Concluded at ISM

ISM Patna (17 December 2022): A two-day 6th National Management Summit and Research Conference (NMSRC) 2022 on the theme of Challenges & Opportunities of Management in the Corporate World was concluded at International School of Management Patna on Saturday, 17 December, 2022. Inaugural session and first technical session on Marketing of this Summit were held on Friday, 16 December 2022. Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Retired Executive Director (Corporate Services), MECON Limited, Ranchi was the Chief Guest as well as Keynote speaker of the inaugural session of the programme. This session was commenced with the benign presence of VC, ISM, young visionary leader Sri Deval Singh; esteemed Director, professional economist, Professor, (Dr) R. K. Singh; Secretary, Sri, Amal Singh; Admin, Ms Neeru Kumari Jha; Programme Coordinator and Nodal Head, Assistant Professor, Mr. Rajeshwar Dayal; Domain Leaders, faculty members. With the announcement of auspicious opening the Summit made by Director Sir on behalf of Sri Samrendra Singh Sir, Honourable Chairman, ISM, more than 500 research scholars form premier Management and IT institutes across the country got an opportunity to interact with eminent intellectuals, academicians and corporate professionals of Marketing, Finance, HR and IT domains in the conference.

The second day of the conference held three more technical sessions on Human Resource Management, Finance and IT. More than fifty presenters presented their research papers before three different technical boards chaired by domain experts Dr. Ritu Narayan, Academician, LNMU; Course Director Eship GOB and Mr. Ranjeet, CEO Upnayan Foundation, Former HR-Admin, Reliance; Dr. Nagendra Kumar Jha, Principal Vanijya Mahavidyalay, Patna University and Mr. Kumar Dushyant Singh, Circle Head - Bihar, Jharkhand & Odisha, Bajaj General Insurance Company Limited; Mr. Ujjwal Kumar, Solution Architect, Scale-Up Axis, Noida and Mr. Ashutosh Kumar, Smarteria Solutions, Patna respectively.

Mr. Ranjeet, CEO Upnayan Foundation made the participants acquainted with a few crisis management techniques through mythological references of the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Ms. Shilpa Sharma, Assistant Professor, Cimage Professional College, presented her views on Rewards and Challenges of Being an HR Manager after Pandemic. Domain Leader of HR, ISM, and also Rapporteur of the HR session Ms. Pooja Dubey put forth her research on impact of teacher’s motivation on the productivity in education sector. Impact of Digital Transformation on Employment Law, a very pertinent issue now-a-days, was explored by IT experts Assistant Professors Ms. Vandana Verma and Ms. Jaya Kumari. Other presenters dealt with some contemporary issues like need of HR insurance awareness, emotional quotient awareness at workplace etc.

Study on cyber security issues affecting banking and online transactions, impact of GST on Indian economy, tax reforms, accelerating focus on digital transformation in banking sector, nano finance, redefinition through microfinance, globalisation on economic inequality and a study on tax planning were discussed in the technical session of finance moderated by Ms. Shilpi Kavita.

Presenters of IT and other topics shared their views on digital transformation challenges in the education industry, semi-conductors as front runners of the digital world, digital transformation in higher education, the role of English Language in business development, English Literature a bridge to serve communication in English.

The two-day conference concluded with a grand valedictory session, in which the quintessence of all the four technical sessions were reported by the rapporteurs Mr. Nayan Ranjan Sinha, Ms. Pooja Dubey, Ms. Shilpi Kavita and Ms. Jaya Kumari. Paper presenters were awarded and certificates were distributed to them. In the end, Ms. Neeru Kumari, Organizing Secretary, NMSRC, proposed a heartfelt vote of thanks to all the esteemed guests chaired the dais, paper presenters, participants and audience present and also to teaching and non-teaching who made the event successful by their direct and indirect supports.
